I figured that’s what causing the extra droop in the front end. Dammit!

Jack up your truck let the front wheels hang down and look at the CV boot.
I had a 2" spacer on top of the top setting.
I figured with all the weight it would be ok.
    It is not.
But like I said jack it us and make sure there is clearance down there.
Your uca might be acting like a limit strap now.

But I rally dont know just guessing rally.
You'll see it take a look.

Wait scratch everything I thought that was a spacer that is bolted to the top. It's not it's a pre load spacer.....
As you were I stand corrected.

The strut can't effectively get any longer but your upper ball joint will not be happy.

I say run it for an week and see what it feels like.

You'll make the right decision on your own.

    Cheers.

    I thought the same thing.

OP I would still have that removed. I bet the truck rides like garbage with all the preload both from that AND the lower clip on the 5100.

Actually I’m pleased with the ride as of now. Rides a lot better then I thought when reading some of the posts. I just want to know what to do with my UCA rubbing against my coils. When I get that problem solved I’ll be happy

When you say the alignment is spot on what does that mean? Post up the alignment specs...should be 0 toe and camber and 3 caster, which are not stock specs that most alignment shops go for.

I agree with others on removing that spacer as well.

Taking the spacer off may solve the problem, because it'll space the coils farther apart at full droop. However, you will lose some lift.

You can also have the shop try rotating the coil (along with the bottom perch) on the shock slightly, say 30 degs to either side. This needs to be done on a spring compressor.
The pictures appear to be taken with the truck on jacks and suspension at full droop.

This seems to be contrary to conventional wisdom. Can you post your numbers?
