    Thanks for the write-up, some good ideas in here.

    Made a custom bracket to bolt it to the studs that are in the perfect place for it. Used a cali raised switch panel to mount it in any switch position

    I installed the Redarc today. I mounted it along the left side of the steering column (there is an aluminum plate to the left). I used zip ties and sticky tape to secure it. Etrailer.com also sold the Tacoma wiring harness and the mounting panel for the controller (part # 331-TPSI-007) so I used an empty slot on my TRD OR.

    I have an off-road trailer I built for a Jeep TJ that I plan to also tow with my Tacoma. The trailer has electric brakes, and I may also tow a small travel trailer. In my Jeep I have a Tekonsha P2 which has been fine, but it's nice that this Redarc is hidden.

    JB Grand Raid Evo XXL mounted on an Alu-Cab. 5.29 gears.
    Yes, the 331-TPSI-007 panel fits the 'large' switch cutout. On my '21 TRD OR AT the only available switch position is the large position for the clutch start cancel on the manual trucks. One downside of a loaded truck is that I now have no empty switch slots.
