My fathers friend was killed when his jeeps body sheered the body mounts off the frame in a 40 mph accident and the body then rolled crushing him.

only had a 2” body lift too. I avoid them like the plague

For me, at least. I've been keeping busy at home. Nissan is being a bitch, I've been working my second job from home, and I had to re-integrate everything from my apartment into the house.

I had four back-to-back meetings yesterday for my theatre job. We're trying to salvage what we can and transition the show onto an online format.

Cali is basically shutdown, so is New York.

I need to paint the Mercedes trunk, but auto body supply isn't considered an essential business. Might just send it and use Rusto paint from Home Depot.

I like to support local businesses, but I might just go have Napa mix something for me.

Should I just do rattle can? I was going to buy a pint and do the bumper and the trunk with my HVLP.

It's really not. You still have in person class?

I have friends who go to school in Utah, Texas, New York, Washington, and Nevada and they all moved back home because they were moved to online education.

Either one is a good choice, more prep and more expense for the gun one considering you need to buy a vat of clear too which is usually more expensive than the color coat.

The paint on the donor trunk lid is single stage, and it looks horrendous compared to the nice shiny factory South Carolina paint job.

Figured I can practice real paintwork on the Merc since I'm a cheap shit and don't want to pay someone to fix the roof and hood on my truck.

Said it before, just wrap it. That way when shit opens again, you can have it properly painted and they don't bitch about having to remove shitty paint.

I got me one of them fancy pneumatic dent pullers, works like a charm. Ask for paint I’ve had the local Sherman Williams mix up paint for me and it comes out great!
