officially....to attach an oil filter/other type of filters to the end of the barrel so it catches all your cleaning solvent as you clean your firearm from the breech end.

Unofficially....just read the legal warnings on the item page and youll see the true purpose

i dont have a dial type torque wrench but my digital Snap-on torque wrench shows current torque being applied. Do you think that’d work to set pinion preload?

Maybe I’ve never used one. Put it on a nut and see if it reads a very light pressure

Just order one from Amazon or something. I know it’s not snap on but it’ll get the job done.

That's like 2ft-lbs. Just have your kid give it his best shot, that oughtta be about right. Or I can bring cooper up and he can do it. :notsure:

*Edit* I just remembered a trick my buddy did when he did his install years and years ago. It all makes sense to me now. Use a fish scale.

Who has put in an HID conversion kit? Which one did you use?

I've been researching for 4 hours now and my eyeballs are burning...

You talking 35w vs 55w? AC vs DC? China or....... China? They're all pretty much made in china. Unless you buy OEM shit.

I was thinking a 35w 4300k system. But was wondering if the Phillips 4300k was worth the extra $150 that most are charging. Also found a site that said 2013+ "American" cars need a PWM modulator. But according to a thread on TW, Tacos don't need them. So does that mean "American" means US auto manufacturers or US automotive market? It gets really confusing when the offer the PWM anti-flicker module but then offer an additional optional PWM module. If I do need one which one?

    :annoyed:

$149.99 for barebones 4300k system vs $274.42 for Phillips 4300k system (both sans PWM modules):

You shouldn't need the anti-flicker if you're running an add-a-circuit since the ballasts draw power directly from the battery and are triggered by factory plug wired to the headlight switch. I'm assuming the anti-flicker module is needed since most modern vehicles can tell you which bulb is out on the dash HUD since the ECU detects a variance in voltage draw. My buddy had that issue with his newer megacab Dodge.

I think I was thinking the same thing. Just to verify though, you're saying I shouldn't need any PWM switch, correct?
