Awesome pictures . Thank you for posting them up . How close is that bearing to the pressure plate fingers ?
Are you running accumulator delete ?
I am working with the manufacturer of the bearing . When we are done , that bearing is NOT going to touch the pressure plate fingers when your foot is off the clutch pedal . Thats my goal
General Motors uses the same darn transmission in the Camero and they introduced a clutch release bearing that doesnt touch the pressure plate fingers .
This is the only fix for the dreaded release bearing squeal as well as a partially applied clutch in our Toyota Tacomas .

    My shit is all stock.
I edited the above text for a bit more clarity regarding the accumulator.

As I installed it, before pressurizing anything, the bearing is roughly .060-.070” away from the fingers of the pressure plate. Once pressurized and in regular use, the bearing only retracts (I should say “gets pushed back”) as far as those fingers push it.

So, after having it apart and seeing how it works, as well as and watching it in action. To answer the question that most here are likely interested in; Yes, the bearing it always contacting the fingers and therefore spinning. Even when the pedal is up.

Have you noticed it releasing any higher after putting some miles on it?
I had new factory clutch and pp installed today along with the CM bearing today. Everything feels amazing. It does however engage at roughly 1/4 release also which is why I was curious.
Had them throw Trd short shifter on it also. Love it. Should have came from the factory that way if you ask me.

Might want to email gadget at URD. I believe he includes them in his clutch kits so he could probably sell you a set. I got with him to get some arp flywheel bolts and he was quick to help

Yeah, it's broken in some, and I'm more used to it. Wish I would have had the time to do the install myself... Have discovered other problems with the install, missing loose exhuast bolts, shop won't take responsibility, but it's all taken care of now. Release is still probably lower than stock, but my stock was fairly worn as well. Pedal is lighter.

I had everything set aside to do mine and borrowed a transmission jack. Work got crazy with everyone else furloughed so I paid to have it done. Drove it 140 miles today and it did great. Fingers crossed this is a long term fix.

finally installed my fx300 with the hydro bearing and heavy flywheel. it is a lot nicer.
i ran the braided line all the way to the firewall and used the short steel line off the slave cylinder to attach it.

when standing at the front bumper looking at the firewall. it will be to the right. just follow the feed hose off the brake fluid reservoir to the firewall. the clutch pressure line is right next to it. or follow the hose off the clutch reservoir. depending on the setup of your vehicle.

I attached mine to the fire wall using a short hard line I took off the slave. But if you get a 10x1.0 by 10x 1.0 male to male adapter you can hook up the line right to the fitting for master cylinder that sticks through the wall

Finally got around to taking mine in to get it installed. Drove about 20km home. Pedal didn't need any adjustments. Pedal feels a lot lighter and shifts much smoother. Happy so far.

Turns out that Toyota busted a flywheel bolt and left it first time i took it in to get RMS and TOB done under warranty.

Did the broken flywheel bolt come out easy enough?

I had a local transmission shop put it in. Was extra 1/2hr labour. Tempted to call Toyota but I doubt they will do anything.

Those flywheel bolts are a one time use stretch bolt. They should be replaced every time they are removed.

I would have thought so too. I had my transmission removed and replaced years ago under warranty. I can’t recall if they replaced the clutch too. I just hope they didn’t break off anything and not tell me about it.

May be a repost, but www.urdusa.com sells ARP flywheel hardware. A worthy addition if getting in there.
