That's a great book man. It's emphasis is towards manufacturing, obviously, but the lessons and principles taught are amazing to apply to any or all aspects of life, hermano. I guess it can be pretty boring for most people lolol but I really did enjoy it.

 

I liked it immediately from the dedication. Didnt make it too far but I'll pick it up again this afternoon.

 

Yeah I'm definitely not the best at putting the stuff into practice but I love learning about the mindset and mentality behind continuous improvement and similar stuff.
Oh dude, if you liked the intro you'll love this podcast on NPR about when Toyota opened the NUMMI plant in California. I dunno if you heard it already but it's great man. You get the perspective of the Japanese engineers that came over to set up production and you get the Murican perspective because it was a joint project with Chevrolet being a previous Chevrolet plant. I'll find the link man. It's awesome.

Morning all! Going back to bed

 

I’ve got 5 yards of dirt to move from my driveway to my backyard. Trying to get motivated.

 

The real question is how far is the distance between the two?

 

I’m using my lawn tractor with a trailer. I can fit a little less than a 1/2 yard in it. Still have to load it one shovel at a time, a bobcat would be great.

 

Ahh...better than wheelbarrow. Hopefully you have a cupholder.

 

I’m spoiled, and yes it has a cup holder.

 

I've got the same. Lawn Tractor with one of those Gorilla Poly pull/dump carts that can also be used as trailer/dump cart.
