I thought about building one at one point, but just ended up getting one of these. Before they were acquired by Yakima.

I did one of these 12v pumps and put it in the bed cubby. Screenshot_20200329-120851_Amazon Shopping.jpg
Put a garden hose sprayer on the end for shower/jet/etc.
There is a thread on here that a member sells as a kit. I took a look at his thread and copied his idea. Then pieced together with what I wanted/needed from home depot. Works pretty good.

I made one out of a 6” pvc pipe, schrader valve, pressure gauge, water spigot and appropriate hoses. I just never finished the full neck portion. I think I ended up giving it too @2015whitetaco. Chris may be able to chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

I am now running a low pressure, high volume pump(I found it at a marine supply shop in Alameda)connected to a Frontrunner tank with a hose attached. The water dispensor is a kitchen sink rinse kit from Lowe’s.

I've had this kit sitting in my garage for at least 2 years...I'm thinking about finally installing it since I have a bit of time on my hands now....

What kind of a situation would you want to use the front locker only?
The lockout feature seems like a good way to prevent accidental fuck ups with switching the wrong one on while you're at full lock or something.

Routing that thick ass 5mm air line was a royal pain in my ass. I'd imagine it would go a heck of a lot easier with two people.

Any off camber situation where having the rear locked will cause a downhill slide. If you just lock the front in that situation you'll drive out without the rear sliding. It's about as close as you can get in our rigs to front digs. If I could have fit a rear disco in with my duals I would have. lol

Gotcha. I have yet to experience that kind of situation.
Front dig would be rad. Haven't really seen anyone still on IFS with front dig. Most all are pretty much full buggy/SAS status.

    Damn!
We decided to go to the store and grab a few things for the week. Well it went great. Not much being sold so everything we bought was on sale. It then became a game of budget at 200 and see how much we can get under that cap. Had a blast just going g grocery shopping. What in the entire helmet has the shit done to me?!

Like many others I’m cleaning the garage. Or should I say, reorganizing for the 10th time, at least.

Question; If Sta-Bil is used to preserve gasoline, what do you use to preserve Sta-Bil?

I’ll be using all three very soon, on my spare fuel tanks in the back yard. Used some fuel this past summer during the PGE power shut downs.

It’s been an interesting last 8 months.

Sta-bil is like twinkies. Just don't ask and you'll be fine!
I have had the same question for years and have a supply of fuel myself that's treated with sta-bil.
Interesting experiment I do is try and eat as many twinkies as possible to see if I to will have a longer life.

    Here are my thoughts.
I built something for my old set up out of a 10 gallon tank, a 12 volt pump with a built in pressure activated pump, food grade tube and a garden sprayer with selectable spray patterns.
    I think I spent $100.
I didn't use it for showers often but more for drinking and washing dishes.
I set it up with a filter and 2 sets of valves. Close 2 valves open the other 2 and you filter the water going into the tank. Switch the valves and the water gets filtered leaving the tank. I did this for water in Mexico but bottled water is available enough it's not needed.

I'm going to build something similar again for my camper but instead of a 10 gallon tank I'm going to use 5 gallon jugs. I'll have more versatility with the jugs over a mounted tank. And I won't have to fill them inside the camper. For tubing I'm going to use Pex tubing. I might put in a propane instant hot water heater. I'm not totally sold on needing hot water though. I can heat water in a pot and give myself a "bath" or jump in a lake or river. A hot water heater means more propane, more stuff. I don't want to mess with my truck's cooling system for a heat exchanger set up either. I try to keep the drive train as stock as possible.

I thought about a black roof mounted tank but I don't want anything other than solar panels on the roof due to center of gravity, wind resistance and clearance. My camper is already 7'2". I'm also keeping all the heavy stuff down low. Showers use a lot of water. While camping I think 2 gallons is reasonable for a short conservative shower. For 2 people that's 4 gallons. Might as well make it 5. That's 40 pounds of just water on the roof...plus a few more pounds for the container, brackets and attachments etc. Call it 45 pounds. I don't want to add 45 pounds to my roof that's over 7 feet off the ground.

If you’ve been in the military for any length of time you may end up with a few light sticks here and there.

They have expiration dates but some do last well beyond the time stated.
But which ones? This one was dated 2006.

    Weak, but working.

yeah, I'm thinking I'd want something along the same lines. Not interested in putting it up high, if I want warm water I can boil a pot and throw it in the tank.
Also don't want to have to fill up inside the camper. Sounds like an easy way to get everything soaked.
