    Hello All.

I picked up a set of Ivan Stewart wheels from a fellow member here who was running them on his 2005 pre-runner. When I got them home I found out the hub bore is much smaller than on my 2009 4x4 off road. His wheels hub bore measured roughly 3 1/4 inch, and on my wheels they measure roughly 4 1/4 inch.

I thought all the newer trucks had the same hub size. When did the hub size change? I need to know as I am looking for some used wheels for spares, and need to see which years to look for.

He might have been running wheel spacers.

    Ok,

I guess I should have checked before posting (Face Palm)!!!!

I looked at the back side of the wheel and it has a larger recess for the hub. The wheel has an area which surrounds the front of the hub and has a smaller size. I imagine this is so they can be sold for both the Toyota's and Chevy applications with the same 6 lug pattern. I bolted one up to my truck and it fit just fine.

So there is nothing to look at here. Move along, nothing to see. Keep moving.

    Thanks for the input guys!
