Sta-bil is like twinkies. Just don't ask and you'll be fine!
I have had the same question for years and have a supply of fuel myself that's treated with sta-bil.
Interesting experiment I do is try and eat as many twinkies as possible to see if I to will have a longer life.

    Here are my thoughts.
I built something for my old set up out of a 10 gallon tank, a 12 volt pump with a built in pressure activated pump, food grade tube and a garden sprayer with selectable spray patterns.
    I think I spent $100.
I didn't use it for showers often but more for drinking and washing dishes.
I set it up with a filter and 2 sets of valves. Close 2 valves open the other 2 and you filter the water going into the tank. Switch the valves and the water gets filtered leaving the tank. I did this for water in Mexico but bottled water is available enough it's not needed.

I'm going to build something similar again for my camper but instead of a 10 gallon tank I'm going to use 5 gallon jugs. I'll have more versatility with the jugs over a mounted tank. And I won't have to fill them inside the camper. For tubing I'm going to use Pex tubing. I might put in a propane instant hot water heater. I'm not totally sold on needing hot water though. I can heat water in a pot and give myself a "bath" or jump in a lake or river. A hot water heater means more propane, more stuff. I don't want to mess with my truck's cooling system for a heat exchanger set up either. I try to keep the drive train as stock as possible.

I thought about a black roof mounted tank but I don't want anything other than solar panels on the roof due to center of gravity, wind resistance and clearance. My camper is already 7'2". I'm also keeping all the heavy stuff down low. Showers use a lot of water. While camping I think 2 gallons is reasonable for a short conservative shower. For 2 people that's 4 gallons. Might as well make it 5. That's 40 pounds of just water on the roof...plus a few more pounds for the container, brackets and attachments etc. Call it 45 pounds. I don't want to add 45 pounds to my roof that's over 7 feet off the ground.

If you’ve been in the military for any length of time you may end up with a few light sticks here and there.

They have expiration dates but some do last well beyond the time stated.
But which ones? This one was dated 2006.

    Weak, but working.

yeah, I'm thinking I'd want something along the same lines. Not interested in putting it up high, if I want warm water I can boil a pot and throw it in the tank.
Also don't want to have to fill up inside the camper. Sounds like an easy way to get everything soaked.

@CrashN'Burn the only downside to my system is having to fill up inside the bed. With the new bed configuration I’m planning on, it will be fillable from the outside. I’m still not sure if I want to bother with a heated water system. I got shower would be nice, but I can always heat up the water on the stove. My favorite solution to that problem is a water/heat exchanger plumbed to the trucks cooling system. Or the water lines run next to the diesel heaters exhaust. Options will arise when I start the new iteration of the bed. I will have a goose gear setup for sale soon.

Yeah, I got rid of some hard drives. Dismantled to the best of my ability. Then beat the shit out of them with a single jack. Did keep two CD/DVD read write units. Thought maybe..... who knows. Probably throw them away next year.
