What to do with OEM cat back exhaust...

Upgraded the exhaust on 2020 TRD Sport AC. Don't know what to do with the original.

Anybody know what its worth?

 

Hang on to it.

 

Whatever the local recycler will give you.

Stencil NASA on it and put it in the neighbor's driveway at 1AM

 

Rather reclaim the space in my garage.

 

Has to have some value. See if anyone is interested in buying it.

 

It has zero monetary value. But when you grow tired of the drone of the new exhaust you can put the stock back on.

 

Throw it on craigslist. I've even had body and repair shops buy my new take-off parts

 

For once, this seems to be the only reasonable answer. Easy project, frees up space and you can screw with your neighbor.

 

Somebody listed a 2020 Tundra cat back on the local Craigslist for $50. Was hoping maybe the market for used Taco parts would be better. But maybe not.

 

You won’t get much if anything for it. If it were a TRD pro exhaust on the other hand that would sell pretty easily

i might be getting close to that myself. I liked it when I first put on the TRD exhaust but now it just kind of annoys me.

 

I dumped my TRD after 6 months. It's a little louder on the 1GR than the 3rd gen's 2GR. Just couldn't take the highway drone. So glad I kept the OEM.

 

Just try posting on CL. All you can do is try, nothing to lose but some time. If someone wants it, they will buy it, if not, take it to the recyclers.
