Yep! My truck beat my ass all day today. And it’s still not done. Gonna have to chop most likely or get different wheels.

Disclaimer* Please ignore the lean. It’s not intentional and will be corrected with a spacer once everything settles.

but now you know what to look for :D

Didn’t get a chance to clean it up nice or get some “scenic” shots yet but here ya go.

So... about that chop... I have almost no down travel in my suspension up front because I had to come up so high to clear the tires. Talking with some other people it looks like a cmc is inevitable. Who’s your guy and what does he charge?

edit: it rides like a damn go cart right now. Not happy at all. It needs to come down on the front.

Love seeing all your great wisdom and skills displayed thru your trucks. Mines just a driver. Been a Toyota 4x4 owner since 84. Started with a Black SR5 and probably will finish with this 15 SR5 4x4.
Thanks for letting me be a part!!

Since you recently did your suspension, how difficult so you think it would be for me to install the spacer I have done the taco lean? May do something different with suspension later but got the spacer cheap and wanna correct that lean. Going to work on DIY popnlock tomorrow and have a few house projects to work on for next couple of weeks while wife and I self quarantine so we can help take care of her parents. Taking a little time off work, probably around a month give or take. Gotta take some of it without pay which will hurt but it is what it is. Look forward to your thoughts. Thanks

You’re talking about the rake I the front? A front spacer? Those are easy. Would recommend a diff drop kit as well if you do anything over an inch. I could definitely help you if you needed it with enough notice. What size are you going with and what kit did you get?

totally understand the quarantine. A lot of stuff on hold with this pandemic happening.

I'm only talking about the single 1/4" spacer for the left front to correct the drivers side lean that's 1/2" lower than the passenger side. May get more lift all around later but right now I just want to fix that lean. Sometimes it's not so noticeable but other times, like yesterday, it seems worse and drives me crazy. :annoyed:

Oh that’s even easier! If you’re handy at all it’s a no brainer. Floor jack, jack stands and basic tools.

Actually I'm very handy and do most everything myself. I've just never done any suspension work before but I've watched a couple of videos. Just a little leery that's all but think I can do it. I've got a floor jack, stands and tools so I should be ok, I think, I hope, possibly, hopefully.....lol

    Same crap everyone else got
If you've watched a video of a coilover install it really is that easy. No need to fear this.

Mag is right. My first time I was a little skeptical that I could do it myself but after I did it I realized how easy it really was. I had a friend there with me that had been doing suspension work for years to tell me if I was doing anything wrong but for the most part, what I learned from reading online and watching videos lead me in the right direction. It’s really fulfilling to for me to do it by myself. I like to learn new things and take the challenge as a personal goal. At this point I do stuff just to see if I can figure it out. Most of the time I can. If you’re handy, you got this :fistbump:
