    Flip your grill over, you’ll see a buncha tabs that hold the 2 sections together. You have to separate them there. Sometimes they’ll just pop apart othe times you need to melt the tabs to separate.

    Reassemble is the opposite of disassembly except you have to melt all the tabs back in place.

    @steveo27 when you took the shell off did the tabs break? What did you use to melt the tabs to bend them straight. And was it easy to bend them back into place? Thanks.

    I’m trying to do the same to my 2nd gen but I’m scared to break all the tabs and I don’t want to paint the new grill I just got. Thanks guys!
