    look at the bottom right, these two wires(screwdriver is pointed at) splice into factory wires.

    The front speakers are an oddball 6x9 to where a 6x9 won't just be able to bolt in. In addition there is very little depth for a speaker before it will hit your window because your factory speakers come out of your door instead of into them. With speaker rings you can get the clearance and mounting ability you need for aftermarket speakers such as a great set of 6.5" components.

    hey just a few quick questions, was i supposed to drill new holes for the speaker rings to mount to the door? also on the kicker kit i had to splice the factory tweeter wire into the new tweeters to make everything work, make sense?

    eclipse head units are made to plug into the base systems wiring, however the jbl has a slightly different harness so i am having it hardwired in the morning. i put it in tho and it looks killer! i'll post a pic
