It's the same as doing gears so you have to set your tooth pattern back lash and all that. It replaces the whole carrier it's not as simple as you may think. Not terrribly difficult but takes some time. You'll need some specialty tools for set up. You may end up needing to take the pinion gear out and resetting preload and pinion depth and all that.

They've tried many times over nothing yet. Been 4 yrs now there are a few threads on here about it. Apparently it's a PWM type set up and needs the ECU stuff and the inputs for control. It's silly.
Sorry I burst your bubble. :anonymous:

I saw a girl today get out of her car with rubber gloves on, pump her gas and then take the gloves off and put them in her purse, lol

I got the tools, but... I'm not helping with the clamshell, holy hell is it a PITA for someone who doesn't do it every other week.

Mines been going strong for 30k miles now so everything was set right, I didn't remove my pinion though because I was able to hit stock settings for backlash and such.

It’s better than dropping them on the ground for someone else to have to pick up. She can keep all the germs safe in her purse away from us.

I get the reasoning and not it's not corona related, but in her purse. Gonna make her eyes burn when looking for her wallet later.

I've used a work glove when fueling up at the diesel pumps that are same as big truckers those things get dirty.

I said that because a friend told me, she watched a lady come out of the grocery store with gloves on. After she put her groceries in the back of her car, she removed the rubber gloves and dropped them on the ground. Then got in her car and left.

This is just a sign of someone listening to all the expert advice but now real world common sense to go with it.
I went to walmart to grab some stuff earlier and there was a man wearing a mask and gloves walking 5 feet behind 2 women that were shopping like they didn't have a care in the world. All I can think was, if he was that worried why go out at all?
