Did I tell you about the time I was at a cruise night almost six years ago and I met this guy with a 2004 Chevy Silverado SS (not showing it, but a spectator like me); I talked to him for less than ten minutes, and he ended up tossing me the keys and telling me to take it for a spin! Below is a picture I took of the truck as it arrived...

That truck was a blast to drive, and I would have taken it beyond the shopping center parking lot if the fuel warning light didn't come on!

 

Wow that's awesome, sounds like a pretty cool guy to let you take it for a spin. I can remember seeing a Manual Transmission Silverado, think they were limited production by Joe Gibbs Racing.

 

I love to open my bedroom window at night, because it keeps my room nice and cold, but there are these goddamn birds that won’t shut up! I had to shut the window...



I really wish I had a rifle and some night vision goggles.

 

I think those were done by Regency; The 5.3L was never offered with a manual transmission, so all those trucks had 4.8L V8s.

The Regency trucks were different then, and they were available with automatic...

 

Looks like it won't be much longer before having to pull out the lawnmower, some of the grass is still brown and dormant but other spots are growing like crazy.

My neighbor bought a literal truckload of firewood and had it delivered to his house; My dad and I helped him move it to the wood rack in his backyard...

I found out from a former coworker that the detail shop where I used to work has laid off eighteen employees, including all of the part-timers! I quit at the end of June in 2019, and now I definitely don't feel bad knowing I would have been gone in another eight months!

 

Last week the busiest place I came across was Lowe's, guessing everyone now have time to do projects around the house.
