So I purchased a replica TRD Pro Grill not realizing that it was made for a 2017, which is where my issue is. I purchased the sensor garnish for the grill, thinking that it was all I needed in order to make it work on my truck but the garnish isn't a correct fit due to tabs in the back. Has anyone had this issue in the past? Is it possible to fix?:confused:

You could modify the grille itself by using a dremel to slot out the bottom holes for the tabs to pass through.

I have also seen people on here run the grille with the original piece in place with no issues reported. My concern would be minimal protection from small objects/water getting directly on the sensor during driving.

No idea of any threads. In the marketplace there's a guy that sells these A/M ones. You can find his for sale thread and scan through the pages. I don't know it off-hand.

Modify the grill or modify the garnish. You could go the easy route and just cut the tabs off the garnish.
