Not by direct deposit, though. We have to have every set of deposits the same, can't alternate with every other check or anything.

Dow Futures were unchanged last I checked. But that was before the new April 30 shut down guidelines issued in the press briefing just now.

Just set it yourself with your bank account. It’s after taxes anyway, so no reason to have it come out of your paycheck

 

Yeah, I was doing it manually but got sick of doing the manual transfers so I setup direct deposit. $5980/year is fine even if I do forget about the extra $20. I don't really like having recurring transfers directly out of my checking account.

I may have a weird way of doing things, but it works for me.

I was more talking about the news cycle the last 5-6 weeks, seems like Fri-Sunday, the press just whips it into a froth.

 

Nice thing is that extra $20 can be added in the new year if you forget to do it manually. We usually do our review in January and add the difference needed for the previous year.

 

I'd say going down Bigly tomorrow morning, because of the extended restrictions

 

It’s kind of funny that news sites leave stories as their headline. Currently CNBC headline is Dow futures slide. Yet above it the Dow ticker fut is green.

 

I know. It's like the news is tossing a dart knowing they have 50/50 chance of being right.

Well I added this morning at 9:44 ET. In it for the long haul. Probably still going to get worse before it gets better.

 

I think once Q1 and Q2 numbers come out there will be some slips, maybe some slips here and there as/if layoffs and closures happen, or monthly earnings reported. I think there will be some normal red days, I don't think we'll see the random -13% days now, the markets are volatile still but not as bad as the past few weeks with a bunch of unknowns. Now it's just known bad, which is at least stable, albeit bad.

 

Financial reporters and weatherman. The only job where you get to be wrong 50% of the time and still get to keep your job.

 

I think it’s great news that BA doesn’t want Caronavirus aid. The market seems to think otherwise. What I like about it is their confidence to make it through without help, but there is still a safety net in place just in case.

 

Do you know why they didn't want it? Maybe something to do with them not wanting to follow all the rules that would be attached to it until it's paid back? That would be my guess.
