Before it was a suggestion, now it's an order. Gives authority police to tell people to disperse if they're acting stupid. Plus beaches are closed now for just chilling, which is good because the beaches around here were packed this weekend.

I wonder what it'll take to shut my work down. Or just to keep me home for a bit.

I've moved to 4 hours a week of actually being in the office. So I'm pretty much stuck at home anyways.

The beaches were what he appeared to be aiming at. They need to come out with concise directives as to what businesses are essential. Idk just didn’t seem like what is needed

I did, which also works for the bottom two but I didn't want to get into explaining that. The drill/chisel works well on all of them. I was chatting with a local helicopter pilot who is used to working on rivets and he was explaining the best way for removal.

I saw someone suggest the ball joint press method. I have one somewhere. I'll just keep it in my back pocket if I need it. I have little patience for cutting stuff out. At least I have multiple methods of extraction to try.

If you have little patience than just use the press, but you'll only be able to get the bottom two easily. Instead of drill/chisel just use a bolt and press it out after you've ground the head off.

it was like 2.5 hours when I did mine. In addition, there were some literal crackheads fighting next to me, but that didnt slow me down

Whoops. I'm at three days a week in the office currently. Our data stream is pretty much shut down and we're just catching up some low priority stuff. Which translates to find inventive ways of wasting time.

I need sec+ for my job. Part of that, CEUs. My current college classes count as CEUs. Ergo, doing my homework = work-related activity. Boom.

Crackheads can be a great motivator!

Has anyone tried an acetylene torch? We used to melt/blow rusted bolts out that way on stuff like exhausts. Or are the rivets to hardened?

Have you found the test engines online? I had all kinds of certs that I never used. Then got a job that required sec+ and had a week to pass it. I just got one of the testing engines and kept going through the questions until I knew the majority of them. They were straight off the test and helped greatly.

We are chatty this evening! I'll see if I can talk my friend into bringing his up. I think he has the full-size tanks so I'm a have to do a lot of convincing.
