    That’s exactly my feedback as well. After some driving it feels great. makes me think it needs a better bleed too. swapped to the 5th gen 4runner then to 4runner rotor and 6 pot wilwoods. Def better grip. but you get that once and awhile oh shit moment.

    The pads also have some cause with it since they are more aggressive pads and prob need some “warm up”

    if I figure it out and tackle it I’ll let everyone know.

    Did you use the process to activate the ABS module? Not exactly sure of it, but it may just help if you haven't.

    Yeah there’s no air in the system. The calipers just require more fluid to push the piston than the Tacoma master cylinder can push. With a sport or sr5 you can swap the master from a sequoia or tundra relatively cheap. But with an off-road that has atrac, it requires a different master cylinder.

    Started the snout trim yesterday but had to cut short. Using a small impact gun, That work well or doe folks prefer a drill? Figure impact was a stronger option but wanted to get some feedback.

    you may want to trim the s/c snout down to the quick change hup if you ever go smaller than 2.5. tip- when you mount the blower start all the mounting bolts THEN finish off the intake mount bolts. you can thank me later.

    I did 4Runner calipers which is what causes the soft pedal with the Tacoma master. I haven’t heard of issues with Tacoma specific big brake calipers. You just spend a lot more.

    I had those for about 2 years. I cant image its any different with the BBKs unless the more but smaller but I did the T4R for then added the wilwood calipers to it (great upgrade if you want the flexability of OEM rotors but still decent 338mm. I feel that you really need to get a pro bleed on them but test wise it stopped better but crazy how the 1mm different in the pistons changed the feel. Figured it would not be that big of a change in feel.

    Where are you suggesting cutting then? I was going to cut down to the silver part as noted on page 1. Honestly not sure but who knows. I do not even have 1 day on it yet. =)

    for a 2.3 the s/c snout should be even with the hub.

    i broke the stud thing on the pulley install tool when i put on my 2.85 stealth pulley way back when and ended up using left handed drill bits
