I trip and stumble a lot more now. Mainly while walking forward, looking back at my parked truck.

I don't spend any time working on 3rd vs. my prior 1st gen. My prior Tacoma had high miles 270k so there was always something that needed attention to keep in it tip top shape.

I realize i'm too old to be rolling around on the floor in the garage.

Mine's completely stock. Sometimes when it gets really cold out my hog draws all the way up to my knees

I wouldn't go as far to say owning A Tacoma has changed my life, but I certainly have gotten a heck of a lot of pleasure out of owning them for the last 24 years.

Im hoping, I got so much I want to do with my truck, but limited mobility right now is keeping me from chancing getting stuck. Last year I wasnt able to drive for like 2 months.

I got a new kayak, ive got my lift kit, going to get some new tires soon. Im ready to go do some up north adventures.

Well keep working at it, hopefully you'll get full mobility back or as close to it as possible.

I bought my first Tacoma (2016 SR5) because I acquired a boat. Not before long I reacquired my love of off-roading, found this forum, and traded in my SR5 for a 2020 OR. I spent this past weekend on my first serious off road trip in the OR. I did it solo and self sufficient except for gasoline. Now my truck is so dirty that I get dirty when I get within 6 feet of it and my car wash is closed! Lol

In 2007 I bought a Tacoma because my life changed, not the other way around. In 2016 I bought a bigger truck because my life changed again.

I can now push a couple few buttons, and my windows go up and down, the doors will lock, and I can move my mirrors!

And I have cool conditioned air!!!

My 2000 TJ had none of the above.

I find after a dozen or so beers, my Taco starts talking back to me......saying “no one has ever driven me so hard” and stuff like that.
