I have a bit of a gatekeeping attitude towards running. Most people out running are the ones you're talking about. They don't listen to rules or laws, take up the whole road/trail, blare their music or wear headphones which is dangerous, and are just annoying.

Groups of runners should run in formation like below. Single file if you come across other people/cyclists. If you can't run in formation like this then don't run in groups.

Is it possible for the rack to fail internally? What would that feel like? It takes a lot of effort to turn the tires, even more than I thought it used to take with the engine off

They could fail internally. But typically if they do it doesn’t make them
Harder to steer unless somethings bent.

They want $32.95 for a conventional oil+filter change. Id do it if it would actually be that price. No doubt all the "shop supplies" "environmental fees" & "waste disposal" charges will push it over $45. Add in a tire rotation and youre pushing $70. o_O

Guess I need to work up the motivation to do it this weekend.

With very little, plenty of people can find out a lot if they really wanted.

Just giving you crap, stay frosty

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    @cruiserguy and @Empty_Lord

Since I can't find any instructions for removing a lower ball joint (LBJ) on a 100 series Land Cruiser (LC100) or LX470, I decided to make some pictures. I managed to remove these in roughly 5 minutes per side.

Step 1 - Use two punches of the same length for releasing the horseshoe c-clip. Hold the punches together and steady while you strike them with a 2lb hammer.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-27-17.jpg

Step 2 - Strike the punches with a suitable tool.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-28-24.jpg

Step 3 - Stop when you break the c-clip loose from the LBJ.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-30-4.jpg

Step 4 - Use a large screwdriver to finish removing the c-clip.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-31-24.jpg

Step 5 - Use a suitable tool to strike the base of the lower control arm and on top of the LBJ. Three good smacks did it.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-33-59.jpg

Step 6 - Watch the LBJ fly out of the lower control arm and land on the garage floor.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-35-36.jpg

Step 7 - Inspect the worn out LBJ to be glad you took the time to replace it.

    upload_2020-3-30_18-37-42.jpg

Now what do I do with these heavily worn control arms?

I don't remember it being near that easy when I did the first 100 series lower bjs.... But hopefully it will be when I do the current 100 series lowers. Kinda cool about the dual punch and hitting em together at same time so that it'll actually work:D:cool:should add that to the FSM.... Gotta be easier than whatever way I did it before..... Maybe that's what gave me such a hard time? I truly don't remember. Maybe it wasn't that hard of a repair after all and I'm just being a sissy
Anyways, are you replacing the arms then? Or just the bushings?
