Threw on my new Kings with 650lb springs up front. Forgot to take measurements for hub to fender, but I did 7 threads showing driver and 4 passenger. Lets just say, that was way too much. Now I'm sitting at 25 1/4".

What is the measurement to stay at? 23" hub to fender?

I’ve read 23” is the max, front hub to fender and 24” for the rear. Did you just install the coils? If not, give it a day or so and drive several miles, it may “settle” an inch or so.

Got it, I'll gladly bring it back down. I installed the full coilover, drove it a bit to settle and it's still wicked high. My fault though!

Assuming they are extended travel, just keep the Shock Length at or below 21" for the best ride.

Yep I'm a huge fan of Justin's and had my truck decked with some support Badging for the Mint 400 last month but when it comes to shocks I like to run the best but I might run Fox like he does if they paid me enough lol

Hey everyone! I noticed the 25001-119 coilovers do not have the lower shock mounting point in blue on the summit racing website. I am not overly concerned about them not being blue in that spot, but I am curious if that means these are not the same as the same 2.5 king coilovers that could be bought through another distributor with the same king part number. The very first post on this thread looks like the ones on summit racing, but all the pictures I have seen so far on this thread have the lower section of the shock entirely blue. Thoughts?

Pictures are probably generic. Have you looked/contacted some TW vendors for pricing instead of summit?

Not yet, I was looking to use summit because of their physical locations. Hoping to avoid shipping unless I have to! The only other pricing I have seen is from what people have said on this thread so far.

Bet you feel like a kid on Christmas day. I know I did.

FWIW, I really enjoy my SPC UCAs. The ability to adjuster caster/camber using the UCA is pretty nice. You don't have to rely on just the lower eccentrics for alignment adjustments. Also the greasable ball joints are another plus in my opinion.

As for leafs, I went with Dakar mediums and I'm sort of torn on that choice. They seem to flex pretty well, but I have to fluid film/lube them more often than I would like to keep them squeak/groan free.

Honestly I kind of want to make the (eventual, this wouldn't be happening for a while) purchase from filthy motorsports because of how good their informational videos are on youtube.

Fair enough, I did a lot of research and price comparison when I bought mine from a vendor here due to free shipping and tax included in the price. When its time, I suggest calling because you may be able to get a better price. I bought my brand new King suspension for a few hundred more than what people were asking for slightly used (if you factor in shipping/Paypal fees). Good luck!
