Went to Safeway at 0900 today. Very few people this time. Talking to a checker later he told me all the TP, paper towels, and napkins, were gone by 0715. They open at 0700.
Don't know why they don't restock. It's not a huge store. The area where they are displayed is not big. I guess all the stores are being hammered by idiots stocking up on these items, and the store can't get enough. Crazy.

Very little in the way of cleaning supplies.

Spent $156 on three full grocery bags of stuff, and two 6 packs of beer.

Then went next door to family run liquor store and bought three bottles of bourbon. $119.

Draw your own conclusions. I’m happy. All things considered.

Have to bake another cake today.

Been thinking about having ATT come out (if they can) to install a landline and break out that dusty ass dial up modem. Our entire world is wireless now.

 

All I want is some damn paper towels. That's it. That's all I'm out of (besides beer... And I need to cut back after the past 2 weeks). Stores here have been recently stocked except for the few essentials you talked of. Eggs were out last night. Bread was minimum quantity, but had what I needed. This shit is getting ridiculous.

 

All the big stores around here have been out, but my mexican market down the street has them.

 

Are hitch extensions wobbly? Need to get one for my Thule bike rack now that I got the relentless bumper on there, also recommendations on brands for one as well?

 

I was surprised to see eggs. I'm down to two rolls of paper towels. Crazy. But Amazon had these, so got two boxes a couple weeks ago.

I mean, I've got 2 cases of wet wipes for the kid, so I'm good if I ever ran out of TP. Just paper towels... With 2 kids they're a must.

I have to run to Walmart in a bit to pick up stuff for lunches for the kids. One still goes to daycare and the other has to go to school care for 2 days a week starting this week.
