Good morning folks.

 

So like we all know things change in a min.
Our hours have changed again. Sigh.....
We are back to 6 days a week.
I guess people were calling for a appointment on sat..
The good thing for me is the shop is open again so I can do maintenance on my own vehicles
on my non working Saturday.
I know it doesn’t help the pocketbook but I can get use to these shorter work days real quick.

Good morning.

Moving the daughter out of college today. We have a time slot when we are allowed to be on campus. FWIW, I don’t think there’s a confirmed case in the county where the college is. Regardless, gloves and N95 masks will be worn by wife, daughter, and me.

Be cautious Scott. Students in dorms come from various locations. When our students moved out, everyone, parents and helpers, entering the dorms were tested and given a wristband if normal temp. Otherwise, no entry.

 

Morning all. Another high level e meeting today via zoom with the union and administration. I fear furloughs are on the way. Thank the Lord for super seniority!

 

Will do. Thanks, and you are correct, students from everywhere. I’m not sure what precautions the college is taking other than limiting the amount of people and the time on campus. In addition to the gloves and masks, we have wipes, Lysol spray, and sanitizer.

I can get blue, white, or yellow paper coveralls from work. I told my daughter that we’d all have them on when we go and she just rolled her eyes. She gets the seriousness of the situation, but wasn’t ready to go full Haz-Mat just yet.

With the lockdown starting tonight at 1700 we made one last trip to Sam's last night for bulk items. Store was all but empty of people and 80% full of stock (but empty of the items everyone else is out of). We got our normal items so I think we can probably go till the end of the month. All the freezers are back to full. The only extra item I got was an additional can of coffee and grabbed an instant coffee (just in case).

We'll finish the new septic tank install today. Pulled all the wires, set the risers and did a little more backfill yesterday. Just have to set and connect the pumps and floats then finish the backfill and be done. It'll be a good stopping point if we shut down.

Public notices have gone out keeping the areas open till the 15th. After that we may have to lock restrooms thus limiting "tent camping" in certain spots (some spots have to be within 500' of a restroom unless they have a self contained unit by policy).

I had a CCW back in OR, that I never replaced when I moved to CO. OC's legal here, so I'm stuck with that. I carry comfortably, so most folks ignore that I even have it.

 

My wife always says that the way I like mine, a good vet could maybe bring it back to life!
