Might as well plus he'll put so little mileage on it even in 8 years that it will still retain value big time. My mom leased a CR-V 4 years ago and was talking about giving it back after 3 years, I told her don't do it..buy it then resell it yourself, the damn thing had 11K on it in 3 years. We considered it for Cupcake since her Rav4 was getting old but Mom kept the CR-V..which was fine, Cupcake is Toyota through and through anyway

They are now pushing us to turn on our cameras so the meetings are more 'personal'. Apparently, there are a lot of team members like me, we all have our cameras 'on' but all you can see is black. Guessing there are a lot of smart asses with their cameras taped over. Yesterday's conference call was pretty comical.

    That's awesome.

Yeah I'm in the office today - last day of the month, but WFH rest of the month. Heading out after work today for a woods ride on the bike. Big plans for my bike setup but I'll probably do the work over the winter so I can just ride the hell out of it this year, and I don't need the gravel bike ASAP anyway.

I want to get my the dirt bike in the woods more this year, although I seem to say that just about every year... Unfortunately, not a lot of places to ride and the registration process is just stupid in MA. Damn bike is road legal but yet I still need a separate registration to ride it off road, go figure...

All our calls are now video. Fortunatly teams has the option to blur the background so they can't see the giblets running around or how dirty the fucking house is...
I have also been using my coffee mug that says "vote right" on basically every call. Just to be a D-Bag.

MTB not dirt bike, for me. I'm road legal without a license :D :D

Yeah that's silly. I was considering getting an ATV to run around the woods, maybe teach the dog to run with me, but I'd have to drive for hours just to get anywhere worth a ride, so what's the point? Maybe if/when we move out of Providence area, but for now....Not worth it.

Niiiice. We haven't been forced to the video yet but if we do, I'm getting a set of footy pajamas to wear every day.

    Trade you. :notsure:

Being an 'essential' worker kind of sucks at the moment, since the company won't let those of us in my office work from home.

I just got an invitation for a 'virtual happy hour' I guess it's make your own drink and call into a video conference... WTF, apparently we don't have enough conference calls throughout the day already.

I wish I had one of those hats that holds 2 cans. It'd be perfect for that call. Good idea on taking it outside though, I actually hadn't thought about that. I might just go sit in my mud pit of a back yard for the call.

I;ve done a few of these just with friends, not colleagues. I generally don't socialize with colleagues. Ended up being pretty fun actually, and got some good day-drinking in.
