Yeah we've already been that way for a bit too.

 

N.C. through April 16th as of now, could change for longer though. Luckily my job is essential and there's only 3 of us here.

 

I went to 2 grocery stores 3 miles apart yesterday trying to find lactose free milk for our kids. One had it and eggs, the other one didn't. The one that had it was nearly empty from people, the other one was packed. Paper aisle was empty in both.

All of our internet is cellular.
We have t-mobile for our phones, as well as a third-party account that uses t-mobile towers and a MoFi device to get 4G internet into the house.

We have Spectrum (used to be Time Warner) internet and phone through a line at our house and also at my work. It's iffy on any day with no panic set in

 

We had SuddenLink coaxial cable service before, but it was horrible; it would drop to no service every night for over a year and after a bunch of failed promises, we GTFO.
Trust me, I'd rather not pay for this 4G solution, but it actually works.

Ahhh... Rural?
We're considered rural. We don't have to have garbage service. ( in CA it's usually required to pay for weekly garbage pickups)

 

Oh, so it's here, there, and also nowhere... Ok, I know exactly where it is now!

 

Where we live is very rural, no forced water (have a well and septic), don't have to pay for garbage service, etc.

Ahhh yes, we're on a well with septic and propane. Our main well produces just under 1GPM, so we have a 2,500 gallon holding tank too.
I actually like the house we're in, as well as the area; it's just in the wrong state. We're 10 minutes away from a Home Depot along with pretty much any shopping we need.
At just under 3 acres, we aren't squished next to our neighbors, but I don't even want our neighbors to hear us or any sudden loud noises that may emit from things in our hands....

Currently we live on 1.2 acres, I grew up on 30 acres that my parents still own and live on. I can't stand living on 1.2 with neighbors. We are trying to sell and move somewhere we can afford ~20 acres so we can hunt there as well. It has grown up as far as houses where we are but it's still rural.
