    Does a 2” aal need new U joints because the kit i’m buying doesn’t have them included?

    No it doesn't need them if thats all you are doing to the rear (other than new shocks). The AAL is only like 1/2" thick, the stock ubolts should be long enough to add an extra half an inch. I used the stock ubolts on my AAL rear lift in my 3rd gen.

    If you were to add a block then you would probably need them.
