What is your rack mounting setup? I have a OEM bed cover as well and this looks great. Did you raise it to allow the cover to open?

Great idea. I have an extra rod and piece of the one I already cut. May even have some parts in my r/c box I have for my 3 boats. Thanks Bud. :hattip:

Depending on what you are pulling and of course how much weight, I would think leaving it in 5th gear with ECT on the truck would perform better.

That looks very similar the unit I bought from a fellow Tacomaworld member in PA. Very happy with the quality.

Front is mounted to the sides of my winch bumper, behind front tire is bolted to the factory hole for the side steps, front of rear tire is mounted to a bracket I made that uses the rear cab mount then the rear is drilled into the last bed cross bar . I wired them to my cargo lights so they are switched and work as puddle lights also .

I like the vinyls and have been debating doing that myself. I ordered the TRD center caps for the wheels and since I have gotten those,
I like the vinyls, was gonna do it myself but then bought the TRD center caps... think it looks pretty good but still thinking about the vinyls...

Someone explain to me the issue you all have with your gas cap. Been doing this since I bought the truck. Haven't had a problem yet... Or am just smarter than the average bear o_O

My concern with doing this over hanging the cap from its leash would be bumping into the cap while putting the nozzle back. If the tether is hanging from the clip, the cap will just move. With the cap in the clip, you could bend the clip. In a perfect world, we would be cautious not to do this and no one else would be walking by the truck while fueling. In a perfect world.

LOL..Just doing my part to stir the pot, ruffle feathers, and make a point. In reality I think the gas hole is pretty cool, just don't see the need for it.

    Samesies!!

In reality, I think most of us bought them for the novelty humor of it. I had a red 08’ for 10 years, took a beating from the sun, but never from the hanging gas cap. Even with fuel drops on the paint, it never once had any issue. It’s more of a cool little conversation piece that still serves a purpose. Just like the blackout kit. Not needed, but I prefer having it to not.

Also glad you didn’t get butt hurt over a sarcastic joke like many others do!

Today I installed 200w of Solar in my Prinsu Roof rack and I'm pretty happy with the result :)

Switched out my 4 H9s in my headlights for Hikari Ultras. Happy. Might be a slight loss of performance but my eyes seem to see the colors better. Plus I'm switching out my Morimotos for DD Sae Sport Fogs. Which will help.
I did notice some condensation in my right headlight. My dealer said it's normal. Is this so ? Pic is after I used a blow dryer on it. Much worse before I did
