The wife, dog, and I went up for a little ride this last weekend looking for some sheds. Still a little muddy and wet in the mountains.

in my experience i havent seen a true 4 season jacket. anything warm enough in the fall is too hot in the summer. id really get a true winter jacket with liner that could be removed for spring/fall and a summer jacket if you can.

Yeah, layers is where it's at. Some kind of shell that is wind proof on the outside with zips for ventilation in the summer with enough room to layer up under in winter. My favorite one has a high collar that you can actually cinch down the neck if you have it partially unzipped so it isn't attacking your face. Wish they still made it.

I have the Vendetta jacket in a large. It’s just a tad bulky when I don’t wear a flannel underneath and the arms are a hair short as well, but i probably won’t get anything to fit perfect unless I get a custom tailored jacket lol. But I love the jacket so far. I like it cuz it doesn’t really look like a motorcycle jacket if I were to wear it off the bike.

edit: not sure how well it would be as a 4 season. You can probably handle the cold better than me so it may work for 40* if you throw a sweatshirt on underneath. On my ride on Sunday I started with a flannel under it. Got to my destination and had to take the flannel off was too hot. Even was unzipping the breast pockets for extra air circulation. When I did that I was good though. Not sure if I’ll be wearing this in the summer when it’s 80+ but we’ll see

I don’t know if I am cool enough for leather. Will probably get a textile jacket.

The textile one I also have would not work for you. It's pretty much full perforated. It'll be a good summer jacket but that's it. Offers zero cold protection

    Pretty sweet bike.

Here's a classic I'd like to track down - Honda SL350. This was a pic of my dad's bike that I rode a few times as a kid. Pretty sure it was a 1970. I remember it being heavy to handle in the soft sand - one day I dropped it and snapped the clutch lever, my dad was not happy lol.

i have a heated liner that i'll wear under my non-perforated textile in the winter. it's windproof, so that alone helps. and then turning it on keeps you nice and warm

They go for $2-5K. I'm looking for one but I'm really picky. The later ones have brushed aluminum fenders. Your exhaust is correct, I think the later ones have the upswept triangle shaped mufflers. The handlebars look a little tall and I cant tell if that is a crossbar or not. Super cool bike. On my bucket list.

This might fit the bill. I ordered it but ended up sending it back because the black jacket came with a red inner liner when it was supposed to be black. Looks pretty close to a normal jacket.

Yeah I see them every now and then in various condition ranging from rough to fully restored. Thanks for those details, I've done minimal research but remember reading only certain years came with electric start.

That’s a good idea. Already have a full mesh jacket for the really hot days.
