I'm essential but can work from home. We were told if you can, do it. But we're still open. I'm in the shop today.

Oh yeah that's what I want, footage of me drinking owned by the company.

    :drevil:

    Nope.

I've been taking my lunch time call from the woods with the dog.

If we get forced to video calls, I am so getting this set up.

    Yarp.

RISD beach is nice, dog friendly year round. They're doing construction right now so parking is a disaster though. I usually park at the tillinghast place or whatever it's called. It's nice to have it so closeby East Prov, at least. There's the carousel beach too down by the Riverside carousel. That one isn't explicitly dog friendly, but we go there a decent amount and she can run off leash.

Then there's all the south county stuff and the islands too.

My good snowmobile buddy just discovered zoom meetings. He's all like "this is amazing! Now we can have drinks together again!" He has no idea that by the time his cocktail hour comes around I've already had at least 3 zoom meetings that day.

LOL. We've been using facebook chat. Zoom is good but cumbersome, everyone has facebook so just get on chat and drink. Trivia is more difficult with trying to share screens but we make do.

Yeah the wife and I have done 4 virtual hangouts with friends on zoom. Sunday we did trivia. They are definitely fun and not as chaotic as I thought it would be when we did one with about 16 people on it.

my wife has a workout group she did trivia with. There was something like 25 people THAT was a bit chaotic. We have done trivia a bit with some friends though. We use wrik they do trivia in RI and I think some parts of bordering mass. They’re good and a simple layout.

anyone figured out a way to play games online while face time chat or whatever? Is there like a cards against humanity shared server or something like that? I’m not into the whole gaming scene I’m sure there’s ways to do this that someone my age should know about.

trying to set up something like trivia or whatever with the wife’s family.

Yeah 25 people I can see that getting a little crazy lol! Good to know about wrik. Yeah my friends and I are trying to find an app to do some poker. So I should be able to find something.

I will ask my wife if she knows anything about online games since she works for Hasbro. She is currently on a conference call so I will ask once she is done.

First round of clover seed down turns out I either used too much or need a lot more. I think I used too much. Gotta order more of that and also just going to get some grass seed and use that as a filler for putting it down too. Grass seed is cheap at least. I don’t care about my lawn that much so it’s not a top priority.

its super small seed, so spreads really fast unless you have the hopper barely open. I used a ton last year and I have it all over. Love it.

Yeah, you really need to mix it in with sand if you're not going to blow it all in one pass

I have a Scott’s spreader and the bag said 2. Problem is I only used that for the last little bit, I guessed and used my hands for the first most of it. So once I saw how much the spreader was dropping I realized my mistake.

I’ll probably cut in some grass seed this next go around and at least get the front yard green this year. And then start over seeding the clover in September again.

I've been doing AA meetings on Zoom which I keep the camera off on, but my second job had our monthly meeting last night and camera was on. A couple of people freaked when Thug Rose jumped on my lap and started looking at the camera.

Talked to my wife and she just finished up working on the new Hasbro online site called "Bring home the fun". It was quickly put together because of the COVID-19 out break. It's probably mostly kids stuff but there might be some games that could be fun.

    Just FYI,
They're setting up a 250 field bed Hospital in the DCU center now.

Personally, if you have a mask were it anywhere in public.
    If you don't find one.
