Is that a poly upper? I put together a basic six pound AR and love it. Lightweight is the way to go.

So did everybody just NOW realize that .40 is a fad caliber? If not that, I must be out of the loop on something. I've been keeping my eyes open for a S&W 9mm on Armslist for about a month now (not panic buying, just decided I wanted a new camp carry). I've only seen one 9mm the whole time, everything else is Springfield .40, Sig .40, S&W .40... everybody dumping their .40.

Maybe I'm just ahead of the curve, I got rid of my .40 3 years ago.

40 is simply a Malcolm caliber, not powerful enough to make swiss cheese like the 45, and not as fast and reliably easy to obtain like 9mm.
Then you have Hal (10mm) Hal doesn't give a fuck what you think, Hal takes care of business, I just need to hit a gold mine of cheap 10mm soon.

Is a used H&K MR762a1 for $2000 firm too good to be true? I cannot find what a used one is selling for.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Sooo, they created a label on Friday at 3:30 pm. Today at 4:31 pm they "shipped" it. Supposed to be here on Wednesday. So the time line is, March 12th, ordered LCP II from Buds and 2 spare mags from GunMagWarehouse. March 13th, ordered 1000 rds .380acp from TargetSports. March 16th, TS sends a general shipping (10 day) delay email. March 17, LCP delivered to FFL from Buds. Same day, I order 100 rds of JHP from Buds and my mags ship from GMW. On March 19th, I reach out to FFL for receipt (unfortunately too late for permit dept to process my new permit). March 21st spare mags arrive in my mailbox. March 24th, JHP's arrive via FedEx. April 1st (?) case of .380 arrives... Maybe by May 1st I'll have the handgun...

I mostly kid about this, as it's 1st world problems. My friends and family have been fortunate thus far and safe. I know no one personally that is starving, or worried about paying their bills. I am very blessed, and to have the means to even make these purchases during this time I feel fortunate. I'm not rich, I struggle at times, but during an event like this, I can't bitch about anything. Please everyone, stay safe, and enjoy this "off" time to the best of your ability.

How used is it? 100 round through it? 5000?
I would say if in pretty good shape it should
    be worth it.

From what I have found new ones going for around 32 - 3900.
Didn't look very long so no used ones found.

The writing was on the wall when the FBI went back to 9. People realized that while .40 can push major power factor quite well, unless you're shooting USPSA PF doesn't matter. Holes in vitals stop threats, and it's easier to put holes in vitals with 9 than 40 AND you get more attempts.

If you only got ride of your .40 3 years ago I'd say you're behind the curve. I got ride of mine 5+ years ago and never looked back.

It's a learning curve and a reoccurring trend in the industry. The more you experience and gain in knowledge the more you realize the bad trends and try and move away from them. Some poor bastard is going to come along and do the same regardless if you try and tell them otherwise. There is so much bad information out there that it's difficult to navigate for a lot of people.

Well I mean, it was mine, I wasn't making payments on it and it ran well. Had all of it's oil changes. So I didn't really have a reason to get rid of it. Until I needed more rounds.

I'm not slow, I was just well stocked.

Hey, nothing wrong with using what you've got! I enjoyed my .40 while I had it but was definitely persuaded to go a different direction so there was no point in keeping it.

Definitely! I always enjoyed the .45 just a little more, the .40 always seemed to have more kick than it should. After many years tho I decided I like how controllable the 9mm round is. Anyways! Sorry for taking the thread a bit off course!

Oh I am sure I will love it. 100,000 hours on a single battery is a nice touch. I have one on a CZ Scorpion but a different model and not bought within the last 48hrs :)

I am becoming a big fan of the holosun products. I only wish I found them sooner.

Well, it is a large pistol. But it is so much fun to shoot. Accurate right of the box with its iron sights. There are now PMAGs for them now that hold 35. I also included a Shockwave Blade forearm brace with folding adapter.
