    Thank you Zim!

Im pretty sure that autodesk would crash a hotel computer, so I have my essential hotel drafting kit:

Bet you haven't seen one of these in a long time. I still actually have this in my office and use it on occasion. I'm the only one in our engineering department that can actually create a drawing on it.

hmmm, I was watching a youTube of a 2020 where the gas cap cable having been formed to a s/z where it attaches to the gas cap. The yt'er attached that s/z formed part of the cable into the cover's clip that attaches to the body's strike.

I remember my high school had a drafting class, you know, before the C in CAD. :)

    None... yet.
I recently installed the N2 Designs remote starter kit and a Joying Wireless Android Auto/Carplay head unit. Pretty much thrilled with both. Both were complete plug-and-play, didn't have to splice a single wire or wire up a harness. Just unplug a few things and plug a few things in. Didn't take any pics during either install, I was pressed for time and besides, plenty of folks have documented the installation of both pretty extensively.

This thread and this thread were where I got most of my info on the head unit. The Joying units are a little fidgety, and several folks have had some minor issues (major issues if trying to install with the JBL system). But with a little futzing around, mine works nearly perfectly (I do find that occasionally, I have to exit out of CarPlay and back to the main home screen then back to CarPlay in order to get audio to work when I first start the truck up, but that's about it). Otherwise, I'm thrilled. Fully wireless CarPlay, and the unit fits the space perfectly. And we're getting out of the season where I need the remote starter, but I'll be glad I installed it when the temperatures drop again next winter.

Mine at home is a little older with wires on both sides to keep it square, but it still works and still gets used.

Not Toyota related, but you might appreciate this YouTube video:

Thanks, I'll have to check it out at home. Here at work, the DoD seem to think that all the people who they sent home to work (except me) feel that streaming anything (Youtube, Netflix, etc) puts an undo strain on the network. It's like their network management abilities got a disease. Thanks again!

Got my bed rack finished up. Its 1 inch square tube covered in black pool noodle. Mounted to the bed rails with relentless rail mounts. The kayak can sit on top of the rails upside down. In the winter time the foam will be removed and a basket will be bolted to the rails to act as a shelf for things. I chose this way to mount kayaks so I can keep my tailgate closed and haul the kayaks. That way I can put stuff in the bed and not worry about it falling out.

Only if uninvited, gentle as a lamb otherwise.
Someone else eluded to the opinion that Riley would only attack if trained, I disagree. That said he WAS trained via the Koehler method so that's not a wheel that I would recommend spinning. :D

Nothing at all wrong with the old school way of doing things. If it wasn't for digital micrometers and verniers half of the young dogs that I work with would be SOL.

I also cut my teeth on those old boards all the way back to '86. Ones with the guide wires and the slides. However, the plastic straight edge in the slide pic makes a perfect back scratcher. Have one on by desk to this day. Right next to my Dual screen monitors. Man have times changed.

Finally got to enjoy some quarantine time. Got half the yard mowed before the rains came ( It’s been absolutely beautiful here ..except for the pollen the last two weeks. My first day off in those two weeks... and it rains. Go figure ) So I decided to I needed to at least do some mods on my truck. So I installed the Matt Gecko hood light. Guess I’ll go sit on the couch now and be a good quarantiney 664BFABF-698F-41D8-B916-16060372AAFE.jpgA1FFE6D6-C5F2-4FEF-8986-077EE56D7BEB.jpg
