The money was supposed to go to division of the Department of Interior. There were some rumblings about it right after the event. I think it was BP or one of their affiliates that publicly asked where the money actually went. Like most stories of real significance it flashed for about 30 seconds then got buried under a mountain of "Government is our savior, the private sector is the devil".

So disappointed that didn't end up as a fail video with them getting flattened by a minivan or a tractor trailer.

Pieces of shit like that need to stay off of public roads. I've picked up too many bits and pieces of people that were killed by asshats doing dumb shit. Ever spent four hours on the side of the road looking for the missing head of an eight year old girl in a drainage ditch because some asshole crossed the center line? I have. Ever held a 16 year old's brains in your hands after she and her friends were run off the road by someone driving like an idiot? I have. Fuck people that show complete disregard for other people on the road.

Cincinnati or Lexington ? That's just based on Kansas City as your location..

Tomorrow I may measure if the bike can fit under my rack. I really don't want to take the rack off again..

@FreshOldTaco if you make an offer on that grom keep in mind the current dmv delays/closures.... looks like all DMV offices will be closed for the entire month of april, so really any legal paperwork needed would be on hold and any purchase would be left in limbo between buying and tagging.

at least thats what the nys dmv is leading me to believe, i only suspect PA will follow suit

I submitted stuff online. All I am doing now is waiting. I just checked and everything is closed until at least April 23.

I can post my intent to auction after April 7. I guess I will need to submit my forms and payment through the mail, and hope they send me a title

Lol if only... I JUST got the registration on Friday. They closed dmv offices on Friday too. I don’t know if this will even solve my issue because they said they needed the title. Which makes NO fucking sense. Why would the dmv get the title of the bike? They’re not the lien holder. Also, I got a check made to the dmv from Illinois to pay for the tax differences. But guess who already paid that $191? That’s right, me. So now I also get to figure out how to handle that. Not sure if I’ll get a credit on my account or what...

Thanks man that’s a good point. I’m still mulling it over but not in a rush given the current situation.

Kinda sucks too cause we were hoping to finally find a house to buy with spring coming. There’s one we’re interested in seeing and just talked to our agent and he can’t even show it to us. Ugh I’m literally trapped in this damn apartment...I definitely need to ride this weekend weather’s looking good.
