He's got a PLX wideband and a Speedhut boost gauge with 10psi gauge face and 3 bar sensor.

He's got a supercharger, his boost is gonna be pretty consistent with or without open pipes (I tried both when it was my SC lol)

I've used autometer boost/vac gauges on my SRT4 swapped big turbo PT, my RX7 FD single big turbo, and both my Z31 and Z32 TT

Only boosted car I didn't have an aftermarket boost gauge on was my big turbo Focus ST

He's talking about his pickup. The Z is NA and he lives where the gestapo asks for papers regularly, he'll have no fun with vehicles as long as he continues to live there

I'm gonna pretend I didn't read that. We can pretend it didn't happen and I'll continue to treat you with respect.

Ahh, I thought he was talking about the Z since he mentioned running new wiring recently. Didn't know there's more work to be done on the truck.

I may be newer to the Tacoma platform, but far from big turbo vehicles. Thought you would've understood when I mentioned a downpipe and quicker boost that I was referring to a turbo...which I thought his Z was. Especially when I mentioned swapping to a Holset, which I had in one of my Z31s

It was free, and the motor came from someone that blew the getrag it was attached to.

There's also the Pathfinder manifold that was always a popular upgrade as well

I figured as much, but the Holset is the basic bitch goto upgrade for just about anything with a turbo anyway so I thought you might've also been encouraging him to go for broke on the taco.

Lol what's wrong with his truck anyway?

I miss so much while I'm at work.

If you want to space your hood up for 5hp haha. Gutted Z31 Mani works better. Or just weld yourself one of these with a 108mm throttle body

It's a major work in progress, needs gauges so he can see what needs to be tuned. My guess is it's the same old story, too lean most of the time and detonating

Yeah, it's lame, but that's Toyota up to 2009 for ya. The Haltech 2000 and 2500 units are almost perfect feature for feature drop ins. Just spendy
