    They’re made of plastic trim that hasn’t lost it’s color and they aren’t all scuffed up either. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess

    Spraying wouldn't hurt them at all though either plus make them look uniform to all the new paint that is going to be applied.

    I was talking about the plastic steps. I've used the bed liner on a lot. Stuff is great. If ya have them taped already I wouldn't sweat it.

    For such limited use just find the cheapest you can. Likely wont wear anything out in 1 use.
    Like Manrer said it wont run it long but it should run it. It will likely be running the entire time constantly trying to keep teh tank full. You may have to wait for pressure to build if you are running the tool a decent amount. For the parts you've said I wouldnt bother, save the money and just use hand tool.
    I'm guessing your uncle uses them a lot? Most battery ones dont seem to hold up great to heavy use. I've been looking to get an HT impact and will likely spend way more than I should for the use.
    I believe LB steps are too long for SB trucks. I could be wrong though.
