To mask or not to mask ?
I'm still confused by people wearing masks while going for a walk or driving in their cars, I mean the air isn't contaminated.
I'm a wood flooring contractor so I have the N95 masks and plenty of gloves but to be honest I only use them at work, as I always have.
I felt kind of guilty on Saturday because we had my wife's car towed to the Toyota dealer and the driver was complaining about not being able to find gloves,
and here I have plenty but I don't really use them outside of work - I gave him 4-5 pairs of good gloves and he was stoked.
Where and when are you using masks and gloves ?

I wear gloves when I go to any store. I have thought of the mask. Not to stop virus from entering me thru my mouth or nose but thru me having the virus on my hand then touching my face. But I have construction style masks not medical and they don't cover my skin on my face the same.
I also carry Clorox wipes and before I head into a store I wipe my glove covered hand off with the wipe so I am not taking in the virus if i have it on me. I carry the wipe with my and wipe off the cart handle and some things i touch -self check out tills, what some foods are wrapped in. When i get to the vehicle i put the stuff i bought in the back of the taco. It's still cold up here and my thought is the cold will kill the virus also. At least I am hoping so.
I then wipe the gloves again and remove. When I get home I wash all the stuff I bought.
There is a person in my life who has a auto immune disease and I don't want to bring that F'n bug back.
To be frankly honest I don't wear a mask because of my ego I think but suspect as this goes on I will start to.
I was told the Asians who were the mask are not wearing it to stop from getting the virus but as not to spread it. It is dishonorable to make someone else sick.

Different kind of daily govt. media briefing:
two representatives, elected official; Minister of Health, and Chief Medical Officer practicing physical distancing in front of an empty room, with an operator managing incoming questions over phone from reporters. The Premier (equivalent to State Governor) stays out of it entirely. First Responder difference is the Ambulance + Paramedic service is a provincial public service, and not operated by Fire Dept.s but Fire Dept can be requested to assist. (vs Private services/ or Fire Dept. Paramedics as is in the US)

I have a N95 mask and a full box of HF 5mil (Large) and 7mil gloves (Medium and Large). I keep them in my vehicle but haven't had to use them yet. Of course I have only left my cave once in the last two weeks. I also keep a baggie with Clorox wet wipes. So far I used them at the ATM and gas pumps.

Like the blue line for police/support of police, red line is firefighter/military/first responder.
Request thru tcBob if you want it added to yours.

    Morning.
Maine is now locked down as of today.
Stay at home now in effect.

    I think a good move...

The boat will stay under the cover for another month I guess.
No sense to open it up...

Someone posted in another thread about Bike riding..
Can’t go for a bike ride anymore..

As long as I’m pointed to work or home I can get away with it.
27° right now so I’m not in a hurry to do that either.

I’m wondering if I will be stopped by the cops when I head to work
    On the bike...

Like some people here my only relief is i have a backyard.
I’ll be “puttering” around when I can.

I was going to pick up fertilizer and grub control this weekend...

    Got to do some research.

    If I can’t get shit, I can’t do shit...

    Be safe everyone..
