Local book distributor is somehow deemed essential. They have a large building here about one half mile off of Interstate 81. Employees raising heck, asking how they can be essential. I am sure you know who company is Dewayne. Corporate is located in Tennessee.

I'm considered an essential employee but California is doing the right thing for a change. We locked down early and that is keeping our numbers low by comparison.

I was just watching the news and they showed the comparison between CA and NY.
    Big difference.

Dead AF at work. Apparently, we don't get nearly as much done when everyone is working from home.

Then again...all assets, infrastructure, and efforts are being redirected toward COVID-19. Even us security folks are dealing with new COVID threats as bad actors are using fear of it to trick people into opening emails and clicking links they would normally be smart enough to avoid.

Tell your friends - the government is NEVER going to email you unless you explicitly set it up ahead of time, and they won't ask you to click links - you'll have to go through a 2-factor authentication process (they send a confirmation text to the cell phone on file) before granting you access to a message platform.

    Everything else is scams.

It seems all we hear in the news is
The number of positive case and the number of deaths.
Our county has had 24 positive cases and two deaths, unfortunately.
    We need some better news.
Local paper finally reported on the number of people who recovered.
    18 people have recovered.

Apparently you don't have the process down. Week one you wear the shirts, week two you wear the pants, repeat as necessary.
