I wondered about local breweries. I think I need to support my local one as well...

...also, finished my whiskey last night. Need to make a run before they consider the liquor store non essential.

@jbroke2 , go scrape off the sticker and see if they change their mind!

Nope, i left Monday. Should have left with yall, the sky opened up Sunday night. The crossing went up at least a foot with all the rain, the rocks on the left when you are coming in were completely underwater... sketchy to say the least on the way out haha.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

How strange to close down a campsite, but leave the Beltline open?!

Hey all, I hope you are all staying well.

I just bought a 12 GA shotgun for home protection and would like to take my wife and son out to shoot it so that they are comfortable handling the weapon. I used to hunt when I was younger but got rid of my shotgun years ago, when the kids were little. I know that several of y'all shoot frequently and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on where I could go shoot. (Preferably outside) I'd prefer not to be around crowds since I have a medical condition that would make catching the virus pretty serious. I can definitely look for local ranges but I thought I'd check with this group.
    Thanks in advance.

    -Bill

Good point! A 20ga Youth model is one of the best home defense options, based on personal situation/factors. Just add an extension tube for a couple extra rounds.

Hey, @CowboyTaco- He'll be 23 years old next week. He's stuck at home from UGA. The gun that is relatively small, though (18.5 inch barrel) It's a Mossberg Maverick 88.

From all that I've read on that, which was a lot b/c I was going to get one last year, it is every bit as good as the Mossberg 500 model with a better price tag. Only reason I didn't buy one is b/c my dad gave me an old Western Auto Revelation 310 (Mossberg 500 variation) from back in the day. I found a used Mossberg 500 18.5 inch barrel and changed it over and bingo, a basically free HD shotgun. The Maverick should met your needs of an HD shoty. What round are you going to fill it with?
