Police in our area have been super clear that they are not stopping anyone to randomly question why they're out. They don't want to expose themselves anymore than the next guy. Biggest change is that they're not allowed to hang out in the office or work out. They're all on patrol to keep them at minimum exposure which is why you probably see them more present than usual.

....at least for our area. My BIL is a LEO :anonymous:

The news now is that the Pa. State Police will not be responding to “some incidents”.

A ventriloquist is traveling through New Mexico when his car starts making a racket. He pulls over at a rural gas station to have it checked.
While he's waiting he sees an old Navajo man on a horse, with his dog, herding some sheep.
He decides to have some fun and approaches him.

"Hello. I'm a reporter. Do you mind if I ask your horse some questions?" he asks

"Pfffft, horse don't talk" answers the old man

The ventriloquist proceeds and asks the horse "How does your owner treat you?"

To the old man's surprise the "horse" replies "Oh pretty well. I get plenty to eat and a barn to sleep in"

"Okay great" continues the ventriloquist "Can I ask your dog some questions?

    "Dog don't talk"

"How does your master treat you?" he asks

"Oh he treats me okay. I get plenty to eat and a fireplace to sleep beside" answers the "dog"

"Okay, now can I talk to your sheep?"

The old man's eyes get wide as he looks around quickly...

    "Sheep lie"

Serious as a heart attack. A lot of small towns have disbanded their police forces because of cost. State Police are required to respond to these areas. They are stretched very thin and are limited by Pa. law as to how many Troopers they can have.

I think I have come up with a solution for the lack of n95's
Use a cotton mask or one similar, go to auto parts store or home improvement store and pick up a hepa air filter for a car or AC/heating unit. Cut piece to fit inside the mask. I am pretty sure those filters are rated for 3 microns, same as n95 mask.

I drove my truck off in a ditch on a country road yesterday and luckily, a local farmer came to help with his big strong horse, named Buddy.

He hitched Buddy up to the truck and yelled, “Pull, Nellie, pull!” Buddy didn’t move. Then the farmer hollered, “Pull, Buster, pull!” Buddy again didn’t respond.

Once more the farmer commanded, “Pull, Coco, pull!” Buddy never moved a muscle at all. Then the farmer nonchalantly said, “Pull, Buddy, pull!” And the horse easily pulled my truck out of the ditch.

I was most appreciative and also very curious. I asked the farmer why he called his horse by the wrong name three times. The farmer said, “Oh, Buddy is blind and if he thought he was the only one pulling, he wouldn’t even try.”

I went to the dollar store yesterday and they had the doors locked. Only allowing 5 inside at a time. Which left 15 of us standing outside breathing on each other. Whatever.
