I will not live my life based off the mistakes of others... people suffer tragic accidents every single minute of every single day.
There are plenty of first responders that will not even throw a leg over a motorcycle due to their traumatic experiences on the job...
For me though it will not stop me from living my life, driving my cars, riding my bikes... it is on me every time I step out, the rest is fate.

I would say that judging anyone and everyone as a group though would lead to many failures... A lot of people attempt things they should not, that is not to say that all people doing this are the same... I for one see their riding ability as a skill and an art, a real form of expression in a world where anyone can bring out a bike and put around but few can master the craft.

guy holds it up for 12 miles dancing on the seat, and you think he is more dangerous than the ignorant driver texting....

    28v1v4.jpg

I actually think any asshole mini van suv driving parent of 5 driving with their 5 kids in the car and a cell phone in their hand texting has less awareness for human life than these riders do on their bikes... but thats just my .02

I guess I slightly agree though on the issue that this country needs a % of the pool removed... but that is another topic all together perhaps.

I can’t wait for the looks when I ride the grom with my race suit. Already get enough looks being a tall guy on a small bike.

We'll see this in winter 2020 spring 2021. I'll buy the first one that arrives at the local Honda dealer. Same powertrain as the Grom/Monkey similar platform to the current Super Cub, but adventurized! Sadly no dual range Transmission like my 1972 Trail 90, but I'll give that up for, FI, disc brakes and LED lighting. I'm guessing $4,200-$4,500.....not cheap.

lol no no, just an 88cc kit on a factory honda 50 head and transmission for now
would love a 4 valve head, manual clutch and on and on and on but for this one the old reliable with the 88cc kit will suffice

4 valve race head on the grom would be fun also, but if the grom end up happening I will prob leave the motor alone for the first couple 1k miles

at this point the only way I will end up with another 2stroke mini would be if long island gets a a kart track that allows mini motard
years back I had a kx60 that again I regretfully sold in hopes of picking up a kx65 that never happened, but this is what i was shooting for

    DSCN3136.jpg

these little bastards are so much fun, i highly recommend

If I could continue riding motorcycles after I'm dead that would be amazing lol, I'm not a believer though so I'll be logging as many miles as I can while I'm still mobile and breathing :bikewheelie2:

I'm right there with you. My daughter just turned 20 months. I got her one of those balance bikes that doesn't have any pedals so she can start getting comfortable on 2 wheels. I can't wait to get her a 50cc dirt bike.

Yep, 3 year old is getting better on the strider bike. Hoping to get her a pw50 but I can’t find any for sale. Passed up on my buddies 2016 for $800 8 months ago like an idiot.

the pw50 is ideal, the shaft drive adds some extra safety for sure..

but in the event you cant find one... also keep mind these other solid options that are all single gear automatics with a throttle screw you can play with and add training wheels if needed at first: suzuki jr50, kawasaki kdx50 and the ktm 50 junior

kinda rare, but they also pop up from time to time would be a Polini 50 or a Cobra 50

both offer mini 50cc fully automatic options, as well as high strung little rippers for those who take quick to the sport

Looks like the Puch moped my grandpa used to ride around his retirement village. Only with more painted surfaces. The cutout for your skirt is a nice touch.

You don't know much about much do you?

That Hunter Cub is an updated version of a Honda CT Trail 90/110 that they have made continuously since the late 1960s. They have been the defacto cool campground machine forever. In Australia the post office uses them to deliver mail and they are affectionately know as a "postie", and is part of their popular culture.

As far as the part about that machine having room for my skirt. As you suggesting that's a girls bike? or that only someone feminine would ride this? Perhaps you are questioning my manhood for liking such a machine? I just want to be clear of the intent of your attempt at a humorous insult. Can you clarify?

    Well. That escalated quickly.

You like what you like. I like what I like.

I'm not here to argue the merits of this particular machine, just dropping by with an opinion.

I'm sure you're hung like a racehorse, so relax.
