    Thanks :)

Well, we were talking about taxes and moving...I moved last year across the country (Canada) and here, if you "move for a job" (I.e., get a new job before you move) you can write off the costs associated with your move against whatever salary you made in your new role. I got a massive return this year. :)

That said, it was easier for us because we are pretty privileged with respect to income, education, etc.

Thats actually an awesome benefit. Would be nice if we had something similar to that here.

How are you guys doing up there with all this COVID stuff?
You guys have your own version of a stimulus going on right?

We do, small businesses are geting $ to cover 75% of wages so folks don't get laid off and laid off folks are getting $2k/month. there are some gaps in the policy, but it is a sound start. Sickness wise we are ok, especially where I am...most folks are working from home and people have been pretty good to one another so far. I am going a bit stircrazy though....lol.

I haven’t been going too crazy yet. I’ll get there though.

This stuff is getting pretty prevalent where I’m at and hospitals are getting a bit overwhelmed. As long as my groceries last this ordeal I’m sticking to my house away from the people.

@Travish325 are you still traveling for your job or staying local?

I am still traveling within a 3.5 hour radius, but on mission essential/critical stuff only. We are having to get approval from HQ at the Pentagon for all travel.

Baltimore/dc traffic is terrible usually but I’ve shaved about 20minutes off my commute home. It’s awesome. Burning more gas in the truck those cruising on home.

This sucks lol. Props for the ones who have home gyms or rented stuff. Cant find anything to rent, equipment for sale is pulling a premium and room is limited being in an apartment and home exercises just are boring. Main goal of this quarantine at this point is just to not gain weight. Cut back on food slowly but being stuck at home means snacks are more tempting. This is trash.

Put your car in neutral and push it around the parking lot.

I’m having a hard time staying motivated. I just need to suck it up and get over it.

I’m doing a good job fasting while at home, just not great with the exercise.

3 interviews this week still. After this week, I'll of had 5 interviews with the one company. This should be their final... I expect (if all goes well) an offer to be sent within 2 weeks. This is a huge company, MASSIVE compared to where I work now. I am a little scared since I will just be a number, but it's time to move on. I have many opportunities out there, it's just who is going to move first... It's hard to pass up someone with 12 years experience in such a niche field with the vast background I have as well. Especially when they have 5-10 positions open for this exact role... Someone is going to move, just all about when.

I found a small park by my house with the perfect chin up height items for me to do seated chin ups and standing chin ups. I was able to do 3 chin ups from flat feet (i cannot actually hang off this unless I pull my feet up) woot! today I have 25 chin ups on the workout plan since I get to go to the gym today. I know it isnt a full hanging chin up, but it feels damn good to be able to do 3 with no jumping assistance.

So happy I get to get under the iron again today in the gym! its a huge outlet for me.

Also I shaved about 35s off my mile from the last time I ran (Saturday to Tuesday). Thats great for me. I am really pushing myself and mentally I think that is due to the progression I have witnessed in myself since my half marathon in October. Starting with training and showing myself what I am capable of, to then getting into the gym afterwards wanting to keep my progress, to today learning how to push myself to make myself faster and stronger. It feels awesome. Ive never enjoyed running but being able to push myself at it for my own improvement is reallly motivating when i can see my own progress in the stopwatch.
