FYI as I asked about swapping my alt pulley. They also are under the impression that the flat pulley is for all tow packages.

We sent flat pulleys to all the customers who asked for flat (tow
package) pulleys in the group buy. It sounds like you have a standard
pulley on your alternator.

I can maybe do that. It's difficult when you are dealing with a large corporation like Gates to do group buys. They don't a damn about the little guys.

 

Seriously! Just got my correct Alt pulley back. Tried to tell them to wait and send both given timing. I was secretly hoping the SC crank would arrive too.

 

Mine is still in the box. I'm thinking my alternator might be on the way out because when I turn up my bass to higher volumes I am seeing my voltage fluctuate from 13.8v to 13.2- 13.3v rapidly then coming back up while at idle.. I'm wondering if it actually is bad now or something.

fridge, 5 channel amp, sub, butt load of lights, twin compressor, RV water pump.

 

Battery is about 4 almost 5 years old, but an Odyssey AGM. Tested it a few months ago and reported 804 CCAs out of 930 and it operates strong.. it is one of the stranger things I have seen the charging system do so I'm not sure if the battery or the alternator is on the frits.

How much time you got before you sell it, how many miles you got on it and how much are you going to sell it for?

I am re-building the big 3 (engine wiring harness no. 2) in order to support the extra power. I should have it swapped out in the next couple weeks. it have 65k on it. I have no idea what I was going to put in up for since I haven't researched any of it yet. If you are interested then just shoot me a PM.

 

Do you have a voltage booster on it? if not would def help. Stock doesn’t have enough to charge it to its peak.

 

I have the diode mod done to it so that should be more than sufficient, but I did that mod in year 4 of the battery because I didnt realize you could do a diode mod to it.

 

Ah makes sense. May not be holding as much juice as it should. I’m hoping I get 5+ years
