I recently bought a “Taco Sauce Only” sticker for my tacoma, but when I put it on I had a huge rectangle around it. Did this happen to anyone else, or does anyone know how to fix this?

Peel the rectangle off slowly. The vinyl (black part) will stay on the fuel door. The clear part is just a backing to help apply the vinyl.

The rectangle is a backing to make application easier (easier to line up).
You should be able to just peel it off, leaving the black stickers left.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
You should be able to peel the clear contact paper off easily. Most die-cut decals (like that) are applied using a 2-part contact paper.

    1. Peel off the backing paper
    2. Apply the decal to a clean surface
    3. Smooth out any air bubbles
    4. Slowly peel away the clear top layer (contact paper) and the decal itself should remain in place.

    Hope that helps!

Oh Christ :frusty:. Just peel the clear part off. The letters will stay. Rub them firmly into place first. That's how these work.

Look pal, I don't know you, but if you don't know that a 6pk of craft beer and a 24pk of Crayolas to go with it makes the perfect evening I can't help you. #fuckpretzels.
