It’s definitely a gray area. But the sooner people just listen and stay home as much as possible for 2-3weeks the sooner all this bs will be over. It should have never come close to going this far

Yeah but you realize this is kind of a stop gap to leveling out the line. There will still be people who will have it past this break. I mean if I were to go it and hike I would probably just go somewhere where no one goes. Plus I don’t think this situation will go away for probably another 3-8 months. Right now it’s about buying time to get supplies to health services.

Well we are most of the way through the start of a new month and there’s no new global threat. What’s the worst that can happen?.

I don't even know if it's irony or not but I'm too tired to care.
The people in that picture are wearing masks so they don't get sick while they go out to buy raw ass bats to eat and get sick from. :puke:

In 30 years were going to find out it was actually a biological weapon China was developing that accidentally contaminated the area and they blamed it on eating weird animals.

My theory is maybe a bit more mundane than a conspiracy to release it. If I had to wager, I would say a worker in the virology lab took bats out to make money on the side.

For those still working and doing okay, our local Tacoma World tint guy is struggling, just talked to him today. Omar said he’s never been this slow. He is wide open right now. Dude does great work for a fantastic price. If you need a re-tint or first tint on any new vehicles, support a local guy that has treated many of us very well. Make sure you mention the Tacoma forum for the best pricing.

    Random question:

what do you think it costs to have someone reboot both cv’s, install new lower arms (you have to pull the rack away from this specific truck), install new bushings in the rack, remove coilovers and install new springs?

I gave someone a price to do all that work and he came back saying he found someone to do it for waaaayyyy less lol.

I will tell you how much he found someone to do it for but I want to see what you guys think that’s worth.

Not knowing what sort of truck it is, but guessing it’s a pita to work on since you said you need to remove the rack to pull the lowers, I’d say that’s probably around a 6hour job at whatever shop rate you want to charge. So probably $400-600 ish

Prefect. Exactly what I was thinking and I was on the low end of that.

he said he found a Toyota tech to do it in his spare time for $100 and that it will take him 2 hours

I just told him that’s awesome but I don’t give away my time.

Yeah I’ve been underquoting my time the last few jobs I did. I forget most trucks aren’t missing all the pieces that mine is and take a little longer to go apart and back together. But not a chance I’d do all that for $100 unless it was a close buddy or something.

Exactly. I’m happy to help out good friends, and usually don’t charge anything. But rando’s, it’s gotta be worth my time.
