Fox Life!!! Anything Related to Fox Suspension

I had to mount it facing the rear. I know its not gonna do much this way but I like to know its there and makes it look nice and clean and matches the other side...also I'm a lil when it comes to these things not the best pic but this is how its setup.

 

Anybody got experience with this site? Seems like a solid price for my 2017 OR.

I'm not really looking to go over 2" on my lift. I've constantly got 210ish pounds on the back with RTT and rack. Easily add another 100-300 with camping gear on trips. Eventually want to add sliders and better skid plates.

Would this kit be good for the long haul? Want to pair it with an AAL for the rear. I'll mostly be doing mild off roading as I live in the south east.

I thought about that but I always keep my truck clean as you can see from the pics so I'm not worried about it. I wash it after I do some nasty wheelin and it has a lil drain in the bottom so .

 

I don't have experience with that site but I will say with that setup there are 2 things to be aware of. The first is that anytime you adjust those springs for lift or anything it is recommended by fox to remove them to compress the spring due to the aluminum housing,if you don't there is a good chance you blow out the threads. There are post about it all over on here I will try to find a link and send it to ya. The second thing is those are the short hose resi shocks and they can be a bit tricky to get setup correctly bc the hose to the resi is so short it doesn't allow another of adjustment without binding the hose or rubbing the shock. But I will say I have heard nothing but good things about that setup from all of my reading,anybody running it loves it and I can say from my little experience so far Fox is a great choice and they are easy to work with if you need anything. Let us know what you end up going with and post up some pics when you get it all installed

 

Thanks for the feedback! I've read that the short hose can be a pain but it's definitely doable. I'm thinking about going this route over a Bilstein or OME setup because it's not much more.

2.0 IFP coilover, which is why the shock package is so cheap, not at all like the 2.5 Remote Reservoir shocks most are running. Not easily rebuildable/tunable which is why we stay away from them. We simply cannot get the performance out of that shock compared to the 2.5s.

 

I finally got everything installed.
Fox 2.5 ext tvl DSC coilovers, Fox Rear 2.0 ext tvl LSC adjusters, SPC adjustable UCAs, Icon RXT leaf pack, superbumps front and back, Fuel Podium Dark Bronze 17x9 -12 offset 4.5” backspace wheels and 285/70/17 KO2s. Front is lifted 2.5” and rear is 2”. I have about a .5” rake.
Everything except for the superbumps came from AccuTune Offroad. What a great bunch of guys. Their customer service is above and beyond.

Edit:
The coilovers were set to the maximum recommendation of 21” of total length. That gave me 2.5” of lift. I have no added weight to the truck except for some side steps.

 

Looking good! The only thing I'd say is that your top nut on the rear shocks are torqued too much. There shouldn't be that much compression on the rubber piece.

Edit: Looks like the official recommendation from fox is as follows: Tighten top locking nut until 5/8’’ of total stem is showing.

 

I thought they looked a little squished. You don’t happened to know the torque number do you? Off to the Google for me.....

Thanks! I couldn’t have done it without you guys. The SPC UCAs I also got from you worked like a charm. My tires are now about an inch away from the CM at the closest point with the wheel turned. This was with the neutral setting of “D”. I still had a couple more settings that would bring it even further forward.

 

I lossened them all the way up and then tightened them down until 5/8” of bolt is showing above the nut. They still squished a little but nothing moves around.

You might also want to rotate the braided hose connection away from the upper rear shock mount or at least keep an eye on it. I've seen a couple cases were flexing of the rear suspension caused the hose to rub through.

 

Thanks. Yes, I’ve read about that. The pic makes them look like they’re touching. They’re about 1/4” away and they haven’t moved in a couple weeks. I keep an eye on them

 

Great to see you got everything mounted up. Im sure your gonna love the ride .I did notice you have the front resi hose clamp mounted slightly wrong,according to the fox installation instructions the hose clamp should go all the way around the mounting bracket and sit in the groove. The groove or hole in the bracket is not to loop the clamp through and will not give you as good of clamping force if mounted improperly and has potential for movement and premature wear on the resi. Just wouldn't want you to run into issues down the road with your nice new lift

Anytime.Those resis can be a bit of a bear to get up there but in the end worth every bit.you weren't kidding when you said we have about the same setup, truck looks great and I bet it rides even better. Did you end up ordering a roost guard for the passenger side to protect the shock shaft?
