Any one able to install the 6112s, at the 5th setting, using the truck as a compressor?

I am unable to get those last few threads through the top before the whole truck starts lifting up. I was able to max out the 5100s using this method easily.

I had a feeling the 6112s would be an issue using this method and might have to bring it to a spring shop to compress them for me. Unless someone has a suggestion?

    Note: I have a DCLB 4x4

I had the same issues and also tried a strut spring compressor which also did not work. I had to bring my stuff to a shop with a wall mounted spring compressor.

What is your coil spring ID? Mine are E4-FD1-Z005B50. I think that's the spring for the FJ. Do FJ and taco use same 6112s?

Not sure what the ID is. I bought #650 Eibach springs since I’ve got a bumper, skids and winch for extra weight.

two ratchet straps on the coil, compress the rest of the way. Keep the jack on the LCA
