Umm... I'm so confused right now. 285 is the width of the tire in millimeters. Any tire that is 285 should be 285 millimeters wide. The aspect ratio of 70, 75, or 80 is the percentage of the width of the tire that is the sidewall height. In your cases above they would be 199.5mm, 213.75mm, and 228mm respectively. And finally the 17 inch is the wheel size.

All 285s should be darn close to 285mm in width. Aspect ratio should NOT effect the width, it effects the Height/Diameter of the tire.

No. 285 is the width of the tire regardless of the aspect ratio. Aspect ratio is the percentage of width (sidewall height).

Some 285s might be slightly wider or skinnier depending on the tire mold, sidewall profile, etc but they are all basically the same width.

    A skinny tire would be a 255

My statement was based on the variations I’ve seen in most tires where as the aspect ratio goes up the tire gets narrower, although not much, like half an inch to an inch at max, yes. I apologize if I ruffled feathers, I come here to learn just like everyone else. Sorry fellas

I have a coworker running 285's on his with no problem.
I'm running 265's on mine and often park next to him and get tire envy lol

Shaping and smoothing sheet metal. It comes with 1",2",3" radius anvils. I got it to smooth out damage on the rear fenders of my car, but the damage to my ulnar nerves makes it hard to grip. So, it got assembled and set aside.

If Goodwill is even still open right now, they are a great place to find dumbbells and kettlebells. Definitely hit and miss, but I've seen them there a lot. I've purchased extra plates for my workout bench there on a couple occasions.

All Value Village and Goodwills are closed. That’s where I usually get mine too.

I’m kicking myself now cuz I donated a pull-up bar and some dumbbells after I moved a couple months ago.

Ppl on OfferUp or CL are asking for GOLD for anything exercise equipment related. This WFH thing is making me get fatter exponentially by the day.

If you, or anyone else wants that and other stuff, I might be able to be convinced to go up to Portland if $200 worth purchased.
