I skipped passed the cringe worthy part; can't imagine how stressful it was for the T being pushed out like that.

    Oh and @Pinay I can't wait! :angrygirl::goingcrazy::yay:

"Mini Me" found his/her roach I left in there some 5-6 days ago when I got it

I really did try taking it out but it was stupid hard with all the webbing it got into. I figured it wasn't a threat since it was stuck

I can't wait to watch the "personality" change after several molts.

    I should post on Arachnoboards

"HEY GUYS, IM NEW. GOT MY LP AS MY FIRST T AND GOT AN OBT AS MY SECOND...ONLY 1 MONTH LATER"

I'll get flamed like a mofo

So that GIF I posted yesterday...I only recorded it since I noticed my OBT was outside of its retreat.

Took a closer look to see it had the roach but I missed when it went to grab it.

I'm wondering from here on out how I can entice my OBT to eat when dropping in prey. The enclosure is so small that I doubt any movement in the webbing will tell it "food is here" since there's enough disturbance in just opening the enclosure alone when I fill the water dish.

I'd recommend against trying to entice Ts (especially an OBT) to feed in a smaller enclosure. They can bolt outside of the enclosure way faster than you can react.

Drop food, hope it doesn't get entangled, and if in 24hrs its still there, remove?

I just hate to ruin the webbing and tunnels its created since I ruined one corner already when I replaced the substrate filled bottle cap.

And yes that thing TELEPORTS. It dashed from one corner to the other through its little funnel faster than I was able to track it with my eyes.

Yeah it's kind of tricky. If you feed your T once per week chances are high that it will be hungry and dart right out to snag the food.

In anticipation of a new room mate

I put some extra thought in not just the placement of the wood, but also by carving a small "tunnel" entrance leaving the dirt below the wood loose.

It extends out to the small piece of bark in the top corner.

The large piece of wood also offers a nice anchor point.

Or I could put in both pieces which takes up room for the non-sling/non-juvenile/in-between for more anchor points? It'd look a little ugly/off lol but possibly functional
