I would love a communal setup, and I was especially excited about getting some from the guy I got my OBT from but he got rid of them already.

Once I gain experience with the husbandry, I'll pursue a communal setup. I don't even own a Monocentropus Balfouri and already they've become my favorite species...can blame @Pinay for that, especially the T fight videos

 

So what species is going in this setup?

I was hoping my specimen was a female (as is always the case with Ts) but in his last molt he came out with the pedipalp bulbs so oh well.

 

Now what I REALLY want to get is the Chilobrachys sp electric blue

I dig the idea of watching a sling mature to an adult.

You learn their temperament, though with OW I know they can turn with the flip of a switch based on my reading lol I don't need to get bit to know it bites

Anyway, as for my OBT, I wouldn't care at all if it were a male or female. My soon to be M Balfouri either, since they're beauties.

Since I'm not breeding them I always prefer a female since they get bigger, live longer, and have better coloration.

Out of your large order that you've been waiting what seems like forever, which species are you most looking forward to?

 

Lol that's a tough one. I'm probably most excited about the mystery box since the surprise is fun but if I had to pick 1 species I guess the grammostola pulchra since that species is such a staple of the hobby.

 

Newly molted Pseudoclamoris gigas is ravenous. TIP: Don't blink.
