Quarantine boredom struck, finally removed the air dam. Front end looks much better in my opinion.

Not a great picture but I picked up my canopy from the auto body place. It was originally white but I spent some of my tax refund on the color match. Now I just need to wash my truck lol

Someone barely swiped my driver's rear bumper and creased the fake chrome. I didn't like the chrome anyways, so I painted them black with bedliner. Even though I thought I prepped the surface correctly (sanding(washing/drying), the chrome was showing through. So I popped $90 on some plain black plastic ones from Amazon. I'm very pleased with these as there's a little OEM look texture on them. Fit was very good also. Now to get rid of the chrome in the tail lights and, eventually, headlights and I'll be happy with the exterior.MVIMG_20200402_103017.jpg

Thinking about spraying bedliner on my chrome caps. I would probably prime them first though to prevent any bleed through.

Yep, no primer was my fatal mistake. Adhesion was good, coverage, not so much.

I've used the Rustoleum bedliner spray before with good results, but it was on a black bumper. I really like the finish on these though. When they get messed up, I'll spray these with bedliner.

Do you have a link to the ones you bought? I am actually looking at buying a set that I can color match paint.
